As we, the Candidates, Sponsors, Parents, Core Team Leaders, run for the prize of the sacrament this year (1 Corinthians 9:24-27); we decided to create this website to guide our families through the process. All the information and relevant forms have been included here. You can print out the relevant information, submit all forms through this website and have this information handy on-the-go. The website will be updated on a continuous basis, please check back regularly.
How do I use this website?
Under the 'About' page, using the dropdown menu, please click the relevant Confirmation event that you need more information on. I have included a site map on the 'About' page itself to assist your navigation. Otherwise, please defer to using this website in all instances and reading through all the pages as we have tried to include all the needed information here.
In the sacrament of Confirmation, by the grace of God, we are strengthened in our faith by being sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit as each confirmand is anointed with sacred Chrism by the bishop. The Confirmation preparation program provides opportunities for personal encounters with Christ through prayer, fellowship, service, and catechesis. Upon receiving the sacrament of Confirmation, candidates are fully initiated into the Church.
This sacrament has often been viewed as a rite of passage into a more adult role in the Church, but actually it strengthens the relationship between the candidate and God. Your teen is still your child after receiving the Sacrament, and we expect you will continue to foster your child’s growing faith beyond the day of Confirmation, for example, by continuing to encourage your teen to attend weekly Mass just as you have been until now. The graces received in Confirmation take a lifetime for each one of us to grow into, and all of us need support in holiness! We also hope you will encourage your teen to bring an open heart and mind to the Confirmation sessions and other events. Your teen is vital to our parish. We look forward to helping your teen embrace his/her baptismal call to discipleship. Once your teen is fully initiated into the Catholic Church, it is our hope that he/she will continue to grow in prayer, community, and service in the life of the Church.
Prior to entering the process in the immediate year of preparation for Confirmation, the candidate should have:

Schedule of Sessions for Confirmation:
Sundays, 9:00 am – 10:15 am
Wednesdays, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Please pick a day that works best for you - so either you attend Sunday or Wednesday. Sunday slots are limited.
Sessions begin October 2nd and run through April 19th.
There will be a Kick Off for grades 6-12 on September 25, 2022.
Our theme this year is Always Forward.
Parent's orientation will be in the Gym from 6-8pm:
Middle Schoolers - September 11, 2022
High Schoolers - September 18, 2022

- Attended Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation
- Completed and participated in faith formation the year before.
- Chosen a sponsor for Confirmation who is a suitable candidate
- Turned in a copy of his/her baptismal certificate to our office
